Into the New Year!

Susan Shaffer is a renowned mixed media artist known for her innovative techniques and vibrant creations. Encaustic monotypes are her focus, sometimes integrating clay, glass and other materials. With years of experience, she brings a unique perspective to the art world, captivating audiences with her exquisite work.


2025 will be a year of post-hurricane recovery, with the Boca Grande Art Center under repair, but Susan's artwork inventory and creative momentum continue to expand. You can currently see her work at the Venice Library Community Room  (300 Nokomis Avenue, Venice) and Newlin's (446 4th St East, Boca Grande). Her Boca Grande studio is always open by appointment as well.
